Sorry Kris November 1, 2010

So I guess I owe an apology to Kris, for being very harsh about what he didn’t do. The fact is I was quite frustrated a lot by how little most of our volunteers are stepping up to the plate, how afraid they are to try new things and maybe they will make mistakes. I thought perhaps this would encourage him but it only destroyed our precious years of working together.

I just want to make sure everyone knows, it doesn’t matter who you are, what your title at this host, the size of your website, your age, your nationality, your gender, your past history, etc… You have an obligation to help those around you, to solve the problems you see bit by bit, and to become the person who you think everyone should be. And I want to make it absolutely clear that this hosting service has room for many many more leaders and many many more new ideas and solutions, including yours. So if you see a problem, please do everything in your power to fix it, and don’t give up, because when we give up is the moment when we really fail. So thanks for reading and please take to heart what I said. See you around.

PS – Conference on Skype starting Saturday November 13th 10:30 AM GMT – 6. This is a great opportunity to get started. Add ‘Azoundria’ and let me know who you are to get invited on the day.

Is this meeting only for those who have interest in becoming volunteers or to just have a group round robin?

In my mind, anybody who wants to make a difference and help our goals is part of our team, and invited to the conference.
